Anatomical fit
The Winderen Pressure Relief girth has an anatomical cut adapted to the horse's morphology. Its soft finish and clearance at the elbows offer more freedom of movement while improving comfort in this particularly sensitive area. Its particularly wide design also reduces pressure points by distributing them over a larger surface area.
The Winderen Pressure Relief girth has been designed to significantly reduce pressure points in the horse's sternum. The Pressure Relief Strap is made from the same proven, technologically advanced materials used for our Back Protect Solution shock absorbers. Its anatomical cut is clear at the elbows and has a particularly wide surface at the sternum, making it an ideal girth, even for sensitive horses. Its characteristics help reduce pressure points exerted on the horse's sternum and muscles while improving its freedom of movement, breathing and general comfort during training.
During training, the volume of the horse's thorax increases in all directions. The strap then exerts pressure on the sternum, sensitive muscles and nerves. This increased pressure in the girth area can affect various processes in the horse's body and lead to reluctance to girth. It is therefore imperative that the horse benefits from maximum comfort.
Finally, we have integrated high-quality elastic elements at both ends of the strap: these are flat and stretchy, but also extremely strong and durable.
In the obstacle version we placed them at different levels, the one at the front being lower than the one at the back. This allows optimization of the adjustment of the girth to the horse's body. The quarters perfectly wrap the horse and thus improve comfort, stability and contact of the rider's leg with the animal's body.
