WINDEREN 2 weeks before receiving in CANADA Thank you.
The Winderen Gel Bits System is an innovative approach for riders who use multiple bits during daily training . All our gel bits can be combined with different types of temples and rings, giving you a perfectly adapted mouthpiece. Branches are quick and easy to swap.
Specially designed for:
- • Horses having difficulty accepting the bit and giving way
- • Sensitive horses having difficulty accepting a metal bit
- • Horses damaging synthetic bits with their teeth
- • Horses allergic to metal bits
Soft bits for horses
For more than three years, we have been carrying out intensive observations and tests, which ultimately allowed us to design our gel bit systems. During that time, we tested our ideas on hundreds of horses and riders of varying levels of training and experience.
This large group, including professional riders, amateur riders and recreational riders, helped us draw the right conclusions. We have thus created a gel that is well accepted by our test horses and is not damaged by teething. Many test riders found that horses chewed their bits more willingly during work and yielded more quickly without fleeing the bit. The horses then got up to speed more quickly and worked with a clear and stable contact, which made for a more effective and relaxed training session.
The synthetic gel used in Winderen mouthpieces has been fully tested and found to be safe for horses. It has FDA certification, which is recognized internationally as proof of high standards, quality and safety. This means that your horse can chew his Winderen bit safely and without side effects.
Resistant to damage from chewing
A big challenge during the development phase was creating a bit that is both soft and comfortable for the horse , but also robust enough to withstand chewing movements. After many attempts, we finally succeeded. Horses enjoy chewing the soft structure of the gel. However, this is extremely resistant to the action of chewing.
We have carried out numerous tests with horses which, to the great annoyance of their owners, quickly damaged the most diverse synthetic mouthpieces. These horses were unable to overcome the Winderen gel bit . We even let dogs chew it to make sure it was sturdy. Indeed, as carnivores, dogs have much sharper teeth and much more powerful jaws than horses. The results obtained by the Winderen bit turned out to be more than satisfactory* ;-)
